Sarah has appeared on Radio 5 Live's Saturday breakfast programme as a specialist personal finance reporter, doing live interviews. She also worked as a reporter on Radio 4's 'You and Yours' programme, both preparing pre-recorded reports and doing live interviews on stories that break on the day.
It meant working under the pressure of tight deadlines, while making sure that broadcasts were informative, relevant and - above all - accurate.
Sarah worked on a huge variety of reports for 'You and Yours' and broke original stories on subjects such as mobile phone fraud; where gangs were stealing mobiles specifically to ring their own premium-rate services to generate revenue, to the scandal of councils over-charging leaseholders for repairs to their flats.
